This is a PROA Hood manufactured or distributed by ModeloDrive with Carbon Fiber being the primary exterior surface material. ModeloDrive FRP (fiberglass) parts are high quality aero parts now available to the US market. ModeloDrive FRP aerodynamics have set a new standard for the fiberglass market. You may need to dry fit the parts and drill holes before prepping and finishing. Fiberglass may have cracks or surface imperfections that need filling and/or leveling. A professional body shop should fix any issues in the prep stage of installation and install the parts. You will need bolts, screws, and double sided tape, which are not included. All ModeloDrive fiberglass parts require modification, shaving, sanding, drilling, filling, cutting to ensure proper fitment but usually less than the competition.
New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in our retail store. To be installed professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Carbon fiber parts are reinforced with a fiberglass backing for added strength. Carbon fiber parts still require prep work. You will need to preform taks such as: buffing, drilling holes (for winshield windshield water nozzles, etc), adding or removing fiberglass (mounting tabs, etc). Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Manufactured with a marine gelcoat variant to help prolong the life against UV aging effects. Carbon is a composite material and may exhibit more gap than OEM materials. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.
