Depending on the style, some fender flares may need to be attached using rivet nuts with a rubber gasket between the flare and the original fender, neither of which is included. Additionally, more aggressive flares may require cutting and rolling of the original fender to allow for greater wheel clearance and a lower stance. Due to the nature of carbon fiber reinforced with fiberglass, adjustments during installation are common, and care must be taken to ensure proper alignment and fitment to avoid gaps or uneven surfaces.
