Install professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Urethane parts require minimal prep work, such as: drilling holes, filler, flex paint agent, sanding, primer. Ships direct from the manufacturer or distributor. Manufactured using a process called RIM, Reaction Injection Molding in which the reactants were mixed then injected into a mold and treated with a memory agent to allow them to restore their original shape. Ships folded to conserve space. Set in the sun for at least 48 hours to restore the original shape. Use a smooth weight, such as a vinyl covered kettle bell on stubborn folds. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.
Disclaimer:
Couture scoops, including side scoops, hood scoops, and roof scoops, are designed as aftermarket accessories intended exclusively for off-road and show use. Couture assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from the use of these products. Due to the nature of polyurethane and the manufacturing processes involved, Couture scoops are not “direct bolt-on” parts. They may require additional preparation, such as sanding, shaving, filling gaps, or other custom bodywork. Installation may also involve modifications to vehicle components to properly fit the new scoop.
Certain scoops, such as side scoops or roof scoops, may involve fewer modifications depending on the vehicle’s design, as they typically attach to existing panels. Hood scoops may require cutting into the hood to create functional airflow or achieve proper fitment. In some cases, additional polyurethane reinforcement may be needed to ensure stability and durability, especially in high-stress areas. Proper alignment and secure attachment are essential for all scoops, particularly in high-speed or off-road conditions.
While these scoops can enhance the look and performance of your vehicle, Couture strongly recommends professional installation by a custom shop experienced in handling polyurethane components to ensure proper fitment and safety.
Couture scoops are designed strictly for off-road and show applications. Due to stringent Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, many of these products are not street legal. Couture does not endorse or recommend the use of side scoops, hood scoops, roof scoops, or other scoops on public roads or highways.
