Material Information:

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in our retail store. To be installed professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Carbon fiber parts are reinforced with a fiberglass backing for added strength. Carbon fiber parts still require prep work. You will need to preform taks such as: buffing, drilling holes (for winshield windshield water nozzles, etc), adding or removing fiberglass (mounting tabs, etc). Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Manufactured with a marine gelcoat variant to help prolong the life against UV aging effects. Carbon is a composite material and may exhibit more gap than OEM materials. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.

Hood scoops, on the other hand, may need more extensive customization, such as cutting into the hood for airflow or fitment. Although drilling of mounting holes and trimming may be necessary, no additional polyurethane material is required during installation.

Professional Installation Recommended

KBD strongly recommends professional installation to ensure correct alignment and stability. This is especially important for hood scoops, where cutting into the hood and additional reinforcement might be required to maintain performance and safety, particularly under high-speed or off-road conditions.
