New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in our retail store. To be installed professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Carbon fiber parts are reinforced with a fiberglass backing for added strength. Carbon fiber parts still require prep work. You will need to preform taks such as: buffing, drilling holes (for winshield windshield water nozzles, etc), adding or removing fiberglass (mounting tabs, etc). Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Manufactured with a marine gelcoat variant to help prolong the life against UV aging effects. Carbon is a composite material and may exhibit more gap than OEM materials. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.

Carbon Creations assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from the use of these products. Due to the nature of carbon fiber reinforced with fiberglass and the manufacturing processes involved, Carbon Creations trunks and hatches are not “direct bolt-on” parts. They may require additional preparation, such as sanding, shaving, filling gaps, or other custom bodywork. Installation may also involve modifications to vehicle components to properly fit the new trunk or hatch.
When transplanting the locking mechanism from the original trunk, you will need to drill holes and add fiberglass reinforcement to ensure proper mounting. Proper alignment and secure installation are critical for ensuring the functionality of the lock and the durability of the trunk or hatch.
