To be installed professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Carbon fiber parts are reinforced with a fiberglass backing for added strength. Carbon fiber parts still require prep work. You will need to preform taks such as: buffing, drilling holes (for winshield windshield water nozzles, etc), adding or removing fiberglass (mounting tabs, etc). Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Manufactured with a marine gelcoat variant to help prolong the life against UV aging effects. Carbon is a composite material and may exhibit more gap than OEM materials. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.
All side skirts offered by Carbon Creations are designed as aftermarket accessories intended exclusively for off-road and show use. Carbon Creations assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from the use of these products. Due to the nature of carbon fiber reinforced with fiberglass and the manufacturing processes involved, Carbon Creations side skirts are not “direct bolt-on” parts. They may require additional preparation, such as sanding, shaving, filling gaps, or other custom bodywork. Installation may also involve modifications to vehicle components to properly fit the new side skirts.
Side skirts that extend up onto the rear quarter panel or front fender may require more extensive work, including custom fitting. In some cases, these side skirts may need to be attached with screws or other fasteners, which are not included and must be sourced separately to ensure secure installation. Proper alignment is crucial to achieve a seamless fit and ensure long-term durability, particularly in high-stress areas.
For the best results, Carbon Creations side skirts are often best matched with front and rear bumpers of the same style, as most aftermarket styles sit lower to the ground than OEM components. Mixing aftermarket side skirts with OEM bumpers can result in a noticeable height difference that disrupts the visual flow of the vehicle.
