To install ModeloDrive Carbon Fiber parts, make sure you are using hood pins on hoods and do not use hydraulic arms to prop open hoods and trunks as they can warp the lightweight components over time. You may need OEM/additional hardware and double sided tape, (not included). Aero parts are to be installed by a professional body shop. Carbon fiber parts have a fiberglass underside which may require modification, shaving, sanding, drilling to install hood pins or other hardware for proper fitment.
New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in our retail store. To be installed professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Carbon fiber parts are reinforced with a fiberglass backing for added strength. Carbon fiber parts still require prep work. You will need to preform taks such as: buffing, drilling holes (for winshield windshield water nozzles, etc), adding or removing fiberglass (mounting tabs, etc). Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Manufactured with a marine gelcoat variant to help prolong the life against UV aging effects. Carbon is a composite material and may exhibit more gap than OEM materials. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.
All wings, roof wings, trunk spoilers, and GT wings offered by ModeloDrive are designed to enhance your vehicle's appearance and performance. These parts are specifically crafted for off-road and show use and may require modifications for proper installation. Custom bodywork, such as sanding, shaving, or trimming, may be necessary to ensure a perfect fit.
Roof Wings
ModeloDrive roof wings are typically installed using automotive-grade adhesive or trim tape. Depending on the design, additional modifications or reinforcement may be required to achieve secure placement and proper fitment.
Trunk Spoilers
For trunk spoilers, you may need to drill holes or make additional adjustments to align the spoiler with your vehicle. Proper attachment is key to ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
GT Wings
ModeloDrive GT wings are designed to create significant downforce, making secure installation critical. Drilling and reinforcement may be necessary at the mounting points. Additional hardware or brackets may also be required to ensure stability and durability for larger GT wings.
To achieve the best results, professional installation by a custom shop experienced with these products is highly recommended. This will ensure proper fitment and long-term performance, especially for more complex installations.
