Product Description:

This is a GT3 Side Skirts manufactured or distributed by ModeloDrive with Carbon Fiber being the primary exterior surface material. ModeloDrive FRP (fiberglass) parts are made to a higher standard than most mass produced US market fiberglass parts. Holes will not always be pre-drilled so you still will need to dry fit the parts before they can be prepped and finished. Due to the nature of fiberglass there may be cracks or surface imperfections that need filled and/or leveled. This should be fixed in the prep stage of installation at a professional body shop. Bolts, screws, and double sided tape is not included. All ModeloDrive fiberglass parts require modification, shaving, sanding, drilling, filling in order to ensure proper fitment but generally speaking less than the competition.

Material Information:

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in our retail store. To be installed professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Carbon fiber parts are reinforced with a fiberglass backing for added strength. Carbon fiber parts still require prep work. You will need to preform taks such as: buffing, drilling holes (for winshield windshield water nozzles, etc), adding or removing fiberglass (mounting tabs, etc). Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Manufactured with a marine gelcoat variant to help prolong the life against UV aging effects. Carbon is a composite material and may exhibit more gap than OEM materials. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.

Side skirts that extend onto the rear quarter panel or front fender may require more extensive custom fitting. In some cases, these side skirts may need to be secured with screws or other fasteners, which are not included and must be sourced separately to ensure a secure installation. Proper alignment is crucial to achieving a seamless fit and ensuring long-term durability, especially in high-stress areas.

For the best results, ModeloDrive side skirts are often best paired with front and rear bumpers of the same style, as most aftermarket styles sit lower to the ground than OEM components. Mixing aftermarket side skirts with OEM bumpers can create a noticeable height difference that disrupts the visual flow of the vehicle.

While side skirts can enhance the aerodynamics and aesthetics of your vehicle, ModeloDrive strongly recommends professional installation by a custom shop experienced in handling polyurethane components to ensure proper fitment and safety.

Due to stringent Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, many of these products are not street legal. ModeloDrive does not endorse or recommend the use of side skirts on public roads or highways. All side skirts are strictly for off-road and show applications.
