VSaero has built a strong following in the aftermarket scene with its hand-laid fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) body kits inspired by aggressive JDM styling. Designed for vehicles like the Toyota Chaser, these components combine lightweight construction with solid durability, giving enthusiasts a practical way to achieve a bold, performance-driven look. From front and rear bumpers to side skirts and wide body fender flares, each piece is crafted to enhance both the visual appeal and aerodynamic profile of your Toyota Chaser.
Using FRP fiberglass allows VSaero to create complex, sharp-edged designs that stand out, while still maintaining structural strength. Their wide catalog makes it easy to find styles ranging from subtle upgrades to full track-inspired builds. Each product is delivered in a primer-ready finish, providing a flexible base for paint and customization while keeping costs accessible for enthusiasts upgrading their Toyota Chaser.
For best results, professional installation is recommended. Due to the nature of fiberglass components, some level of preparation such as cutting, sanding, or adding fiberglass may be required during installation. It is strongly advised to dry fit all parts before drilling or applying paint. Taking the time to properly align each component will ensure your Toyota Chaser achieves a clean, cohesive, and high-quality final appearance.

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in our retail store. To be installed professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Fiberglass parts always require prep work before they can be primed and painted. This product is made with fiberglass material, therefore it will exhibit chips, breaks, cracks, waves, scratches and holes which require modification. It is necessary to dry fit and drill mounting holes and preform body work before paint. Cutting and adding of fiberglass may be required for proper fitment. Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Primer finish. Hand layup is the manufacturing process used for the majority of our fiberglass parts. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.
All hoods and hood accessories offered by VSAero are designed as aftermarket accessories intended exclusively for off-road and show use. VSAero assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from the use of these products. VSAero hoods are often lighter than stock hoods and may feature vented designs, which can cause additional aerodynamic lift at high speeds. As a result, hood pins or AeroCatch latches are mandatory to ensure safety, as standard hood latches may not provide sufficient security.
Due to the nature of fiberglass and the manufacturing processes involved, VSAero hoods are not “direct bolt-on” parts and often require significant preparation, such as sanding, cutting, shaving, and filling gaps. Additional fiberglass reinforcement may be necessary in some areas. Drilling holes for mounting, custom fitting adjustments, and modifications, such as drilling holes for windshield washer nozzles and tubing using a rotary tool, may be required. It's important to note that not all original components, such as washer nozzles and tubing, may be transferable to the VSAero hood depending on its design, so modifications or replacements may be needed.
Hood Latch Adjustments
VSAero hoods typically require repositioning the hood latch to ensure proper alignment and closure. This involves carefully adjusting the latch, making small tweaks to move it up/down or forward/back until the striker catches securely. Given that fiberglass hoods may have slight variations or warping, additional fitting, such as enlarging mounting holes or using shims, is often required for proper alignment. Adjustments to or removal of hood bump stops may also be necessary for proper fitment.
Hood Accessories: Scoops and Other Modifications
VSAero also offers various hood accessories, including scoops, which can enhance the performance and appearance of your vehicle. Attaching a hood scoop typically requires drilling holes in the hood for mounting, as well as using bolts or adhesive, depending on the style of the scoop. When installing hood scoops on fiberglass hoods, it may be necessary to add fiberglass reinforcement around the mounting area to ensure the scoop is securely fastened and properly aligned. Careful measurement and fitting are essential to prevent leaks and maintain the structural integrity of the hood.
For optimal results, VSAero strongly recommends professional installation by a custom shop experienced in handling fiberglass components and hood accessories, as traditional auto repair shops may lack the necessary expertise for these modifications.
Safety and Legal Use
VSAero hoods, hood accessories, and other products are strictly designed for off-road and show use. Due to stringent Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, many of these products, including hoods and hood scoops, are not street legal. VSAero does not endorse or recommend using these products on public roads or highways.
