In some cases, additional fiberglass reinforcement may be needed in certain areas. Drilling holes for mounting and making custom adjustments for alignment may also be necessary.

Attaching these accessories, such as mirror covers or aerodynamic components, may involve drilling holes or using adhesive for secure installation. It may also be necessary to add fiberglass reinforcement to ensure durability and proper attachment, particularly for high-performance or track-oriented designs.

Washer Nozzles, Tubing, and Wiring Compatibility
In some cases, washer nozzles, tubing, or wiring for mirror-related features (such as power adjustments or defrosters) may not be fully compatible with ModeloDrive mirror designs. Modifications, including drilling with a rotary tool or replacing components, may be required to fit these accessories to your vehicle.

For optimal results, ModeloDrive strongly recommends professional installation by a custom shop experienced in handling fiberglass components, as traditional auto repair shops may not have the necessary expertise to perform these modifications.

Safety and Legal Use
ModeloDrive mirrors, mirror covers, and accessories are designed strictly for off-road and show use. Due to stringent Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, many of these products are not street legal. The reduced visibility provided by smaller, aerodynamic mirrors makes them unsuitable for public road use.
