This is a WRC Wide Body Fenders (front) manufactured or distributed by VSaero primarily made of FRP material. VSaero FRP parts are manufactured with fiberglass and plastic resin which strengthens (F)iber (R)einforced (P)lastic. Using FRP allows VSaero to form aggressive styles of various sizes or shapes while still retaining a large degree of strength. When installing new unpainted and unfinished fiberglass parts there may be cracks or surface imperfections that need filled and/or leveled. This should be fixed in the prep stage of installation at a professional body shop. Bolts, screws, and double sided tape are not included. All fiberglass parts require modification, shaving, sanding, drilling, filling in order to ensure proper fitment.
New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in our retail store. To be installed professionally by a bodyshop with a valid automotive repair business license. Fiberglass parts always require prep work before they can be primed and painted. This product is made with fiberglass material, therefore it will exhibit chips, breaks, cracks, waves, scratches and holes which require modification. It is necessary to dry fit and drill mounting holes and preform body work before paint. Cutting and adding of fiberglass may be required for proper fitment. Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Primer finish. Hand layup is the manufacturing process used for the majority of our fiberglass parts. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.
VSAero fenders and fender flares are aftermarket accessories designed for track, show, and off-road use only. These components are not intended for use on public roads. VSAero disclaims any responsibility for damage, injury, or loss resulting from their use. Due to the nature of fiberglass and the manufacturing processes involved, VSAero fenders and fender flares are not direct bolt-on parts. Significant preparation, such as trimming, cutting, sanding, fitting, or adding fiberglass, may be required for installation. Custom bodywork may be needed, and issues like warping or fitment challenges can arise if the parts are not installed properly.
Fender Flares
VSAero fender flares extend the wheel arch to create a more aggressive stance, often complementing the style of a complete body kit. Depending on the design, some fender flares may require attachment using rivet nuts and a rubber gasket between the flare and the original fender, which are not included. More aggressive flares may also require cutting and rolling of the original fender to allow for greater wheel clearance and a lower stance. Due to the nature of fiberglass, adjustments during installation are common, and proper care should be taken to ensure alignment and fitment to avoid gaps or uneven surfaces.
Fenders
VSAero fenders enhance the aesthetic of a vehicle, providing a sleek and customized appearance. These lightweight fiberglass components may require additional reinforcement around the A-pillar and the fender mounting flange for durability and a secure fit. Trimming and reshaping may be necessary to align with the vehicle’s mounting points. For best results, professional installation by a custom shop experienced with fiberglass is recommended. General auto repair shops may lack the expertise needed for proper trimming, cutting, or modifying fiberglass components. As with all VSAero body kits and accessories, these fenders and fender flares are designed for track, show, or off-road use only. They are not street legal due to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. VSAero does not endorse or recommend using these products on public roads or highways.
