Due to the nature of fiberglass components, some level of preparation such as cutting, sanding, or adding fiberglass may be required during installation. It is strongly advised to dry fit all parts before drilling or applying paint. Taking the time to properly align each component will ensure your Toyota MR2 achieves a clean, cohesive, and high-quality final appearance.

Carbon fiber parts still require prep work. You will need to preform taks such as: buffing, drilling holes (for winshield windshield water nozzles, etc), adding or removing fiberglass (mounting tabs, etc). Ships direct from the manufacturer or a distributor. Manufactured with a marine gelcoat variant to help prolong the life against UV aging effects. Carbon is a composite material and may exhibit more gap than OEM materials. Hoods require hood pins. We do not offer any guarantee of fitment on vehicles that have been in involved in accidents and/or have body damage or customization.
All grilles offered by Duraflex are designed as aftermarket accessories intended exclusively for off-road and show use. Duraflex assumes no responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from the use of these grilles. Due to the nature of fiberglass and the manufacturing processes involved, Duraflex grilles are not “direct bolt-on” parts. They often require extensive preparation, including sanding, cutting, shaving, and filling gaps. In some cases, it may also be necessary to add additional fiberglass for reinforcement. Drilling holes for mounting and custom fitting work are commonly required to ensure proper installation.
Modifications to vehicle components, such as adjustments to the front bumper or mounting points, may also be necessary for proper fitment. Duraflex strongly recommends professional installation by a custom shop experienced in working with fiberglass components, as traditional auto repair shops may not have the expertise to handle these modifications.
Please note that Duraflex grilles and other Duraflex products are designed strictly for off-road and show use. Due to stringent Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, many of these grilles are not street legal, and Duraflex does not endorse or recommend using these grilles on public roads or highways.
